A Guilt-Free 2-Week Lake Vacation

Many business owners don’t want to fully-retire – they’d be bored.

You don’t have to feel this way! Join us at the next Half-Retired workshop to learn more.

Meet Jeri. She used to be tied down to her successful marketing firm, unable to join her husband who wanted to travel, and feeling like she didn’t have time to see her grandchildren. The harder she worked, the more guilty she began to feel because she couldn’t spend quality time with her loved ones.

Jeri even tried to hire a team and delegate her work out to see if that helped with giving her more freedom, but unfortunately, none of that worked.

Sleepless nights of worries and guilt kept her mind spinning and stressed, but she couldn’t forget the promise she made to her husband that they would retire together.

That’s when Jeri discovered Half-Retire. She immediately jumped in head-first into the process and quickly discovered that her mindset was still focused on working hard, long hours. Her mindset was, in fact, creating even more work rather than less! Fortunately, through the simple process of rewiring her mindset to align with the Half-Retire principles of living, in just six weeks, she was able to cut out 20 hours per week from her schedule.

This gave Jeri the breathing room to start doing other things besides work, and she was able to take two solid weeks off from work to spend time with her grandchildren who were 1.000 miles away from her home. This was the first of many breaks she was able to give herself and allowed her to take extended time off to reconnect with her husband, daughter, and grandchildren while recharging her mental and physical batteries.

Not only did this give her a much better work-life balance, but she came back to work with more energy, focus, and productivity than ever before. From her own words, she remarks:

“After implementing the Half-Retire model, I have been able to work fewer hours while keeping things moving. I just got back from two solid weeks at our lake cabin and feel great.”
